The story of Finlayson guitars begins with Scottish master luthier Billy Finlayson
An accomplished and tour-hardened guitarist, Finlayson began his lifelong affair with guitars playing in various punk bands throughout Europe and the UK. Always able to look after and mend his guitars on the road, Billy evolved his love of altering and fixing his own guitars into a more long term proposition: namely a comprehensive, hands-on education at both Glasgow’s Anniesland College and London’s Guild Hall University where he achieved a distinguished degree in Stringed Instrument Making...
